Text messages from LIVE Teams for Aliyah Foundation

This page describes the text-message (SMS) program that LIVE Teams runs on behalf of Aliyah Foundation: who sends the messages, what they contain, how you opt in, how to stop them, and which privacy policy and terms apply.

Who sends these messages

LIVE Teams, a service of Live Inc. (Ontario, Canada), sends these messages on behalf of Aliyah Foundation. Aliyah Foundation runs its event registrations and tour bookings on LIVE Teams, and LIVE Teams sends the related text messages to people who have agreed to receive them. Every message starts with "LIVE Teams for Aliyah Foundation:".

What we send

Event reminders for a session you registered for, such as an Aliyah Foundation Zoom teaching session. Aliyah Foundation's staff send these from that registration's responses page: a person writes the reminder and presses send.
Booking confirmations, payment reminders, and departure and travel information for a tour you booked.

Texts from this program do not contain links. No promotional or marketing messages are sent under this program.

How you opt in

On Aliyah Foundation's event registration and tour booking forms (for example the Zoom Prep Session registration and the Nov 2026 tour booking page), an unchecked box appears directly beneath the mobile-number field. On a booking form that has no mobile-number field, the box appears above the Continue button and adds that texts go to the mobile number you signed in with. Beside the box, the form states:

By checking this box, you agree to receive text messages from LIVE Teams on behalf of Aliyah Foundation about your registrations and bookings, such as event reminders, booking confirmations, payment reminders and travel information. The box is separate from any terms or waiver you accept on the form. Ticking it is optional: the form submits either way. If you do not tick the box, no program messages are sent to you. Consent is not a condition of registration or purchase.

Confirmation text

Shortly after you opt in, LIVE Teams sends one confirmation text to the number you gave:

LIVE Teams for Aliyah Foundation: You're subscribed to texts about your Aliyah Foundation registrations. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.

No other message from this program is sent to that number before this confirmation text, except a reply from Aliyah Foundation's staff to a text you sent them first.

Signing in

Signing in to the site sends a one-time code by text to verify your number. That code is sent through LIVE Teams' sign-in provider (Google Firebase Authentication), is not part of this program, and signing in does not sign you up for program messages. The sign-in screen states:

How often

Message frequency varies: typically a reminder before a session you registered for, when Aliyah Foundation's staff send one, and a handful of messages around a tour booking, its payment due dates and departure.

How to stop, and how to get help

Reply STOP to any message and LIVE Teams will stop texting that number. Reply HELP for help, or email LIVE Teams at support@liveteams.co. Opting out of texts does not affect your registration or booking. If you replied STOP before, ticking the box again does not restart texts — reply START.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply. Neither LIVE Teams nor Aliyah Foundation charges for these messages; your mobile carrier's normal rates apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy and terms

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
